Decarbonising Shipping, Restoring the Oceans

Blue Economy Solution is part of the Economy Solution Group. The focus of Blue Economy Solution is to help decarbonise the marine sector bringing all of the technologies available to us through the Economy Solution Group (and it's founding business, Fuel Economy Solution). We aim to help the shipping sector reach Net Zero by 2050 whilst simultaneously aiding ocean restoration, improving ocean cooling and creating carbon sinks to accelerate the required decarbonisation of atmospheric CO2 which must accompany the phase out of fossil fuels. Without this accompanying change and massive carbon sequestration into the biosphere, the removal of fossil fuel induced SO2 in the atmosphere, (currently providing insulation from further global warming), will result in a rapid rise of up to 0.5 degrees C. As part of your Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plans, as required by Marpol Annexe 4 since 2018, we can bring decarbonising technologies together for your shipping business. We can work with your in house or consultant naval architects in the role of clean growth solutions integrator to help improve energy efficiency in the following technology areas:

 - Decarbonising existing fossil fuel use and emissions footprint today until your transition to cleaner energy solutions

 - Improve commerciality saving on existing fuel as well as by developing cleaner energy use carbon tax credits

 - Work with carbon certification organizations (e.g. Verra.org) on energy saving projects to support ship operations

 - Developing on board on demand low cost hydrogen production for auxiliary and propulsion power

-  Development of integrated Resonant Control Electrolysis H2 using structured water to collapse H2 production costs  

As well as working with internal Economy Solution Group partners (such as Fuel Economy Solution, Circular Economy Solution and Finance Economy Solution), we have several extremely experienced external technology and biosphere restoration partners. With their support, in 2022, Blue Economy Solution will be offering ocean restoration services to  include:

 - Ocean plastics restoration - developing low cost clean energy solutions whilst cleaning the oceans of plastic waste; ideal for all scales of island states and island tourism based economies.  

 - Ocean and fisheries restoration projects with an initial view of increasing ocean productivity but with all the accompanying science to prove carbon sequestration.

 - New waste water treatment technologies for on land and on board using new breakthroughs in fluidic oscillation

 - Algae cultivation technologies - upscaled algae farming for carbon offsets to help counterbalance the energy transition

DECARBONISATION HERE AND NOW: Fossil Fuels - Our Combustion Technology

Previously supplied under a third party brand Blue Economy Solution can now globally and exclusively offer under our own Ultimate Systems Integrator (USI) range, USI 1000 liquid and USI 3000 powdered combustion chamber catalysts for marine use. Our fuel stabilization additives and combustion catalyst technology has been tested in the marine sector internationally with a typical fuel savings of 5-7%. However, reduction of emissions is also a key feature of our combustion technology. We can do more than just improve combustion efficiency, helping to save fuel costs, across all standards of marine fuels.

Blue Economy Solution offer not only private label bulk supply of our exclusive fuel technology, but we can also offer bespoke crumbed/powdered catalyst and fuel stability additives design to suit customer specifications. Current problems being observed with stability of fuel blends may be helped with addition of other components, antioxidants, water surfactants, fuel stabilizers, biocides etc. in this unique situation within the industry as we move through the current fuel quality transition.
